Wokingham Borough Council as Highway Authority hereby give notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 that no vehicles shall proceed along the A327 Arborfield Road/ A327 Reading Road 
between its junctions with B3303 Sindlesham Road, Arborfield Cross and the B3349 School Green, Shinfield.

 

The reason for this restriction is to enable emergency street lighting works to be undertaken safely. 

 

The restriction to vehicular traffic will commence on Sunday 15th March 2009 and is expected to be completed on that same day. 
The restriction will be in effect from 08:00 hours, and is expected to be completed by 11:00 hours. The closure will only be effective 
whilst the necessary signs are displayed, and shall not continue for a period exceeding 21 days from the date of this Notice.

 

The diversion route for all vehicles will be via the B3030 Sindlesham Road, the B3030 Mole Road, the B3030 King Street Lane, 
the A329 Reading Road, the B3270 Lower Earley Way, the B3270 Lower Earley Way West and the A327 Hollow Lane or by this route reversed.

 

Access for residents and business users located within the boundary of the closure will be maintained at all times.
