  BURGLARY…..

Mannock Way, Woodley

Elm Road, Earley

Overnight Letterbox Burglaries in Woodley –

In the last two weeks there were 9 overnight letterbox burglaries in Woodley.  Most offences occurred between 00:00-07:20.  Laptops were the most common property stolen but also MP3 players and cars from some properties.

Two people have been arrested but other offenders are out there!

Overnight Letterbox Burglaries in Finchampstead –

There have been 5 letterbox burglaries, last one taking place on Monday 18th Feb.  Again most offences occurring overnight.  Laptops and two cars stolen.

What can you do?

Their main point of entry is by opening the front door via the letterbox.  Check your door is double locked, pushing the handle up alone is not locking it! Push up and turn the key!

Chestnut Crescent, Shinfield – rear window smashed

Hyde End Road, Shinfield – electrical equipment stolen

Clares Green Road, Spencers Wood – car stolen

Hollybush Ride, Finchampstead – vehicle stolen

Crockhamwell Road, Woodley – damage caused

Chequers Way, Woodley – car stolen

Hazel Drive, Woodley – window smashed

Denmark Avenue, Woodley – Damage caused to car in school car park

Finch Road, Earley – damage to window

Culver Lane, Earley – car stolen

Old Woosehill Lane, Wokingham – vehicle scratched

Wellington Road, Wokingham – windows of car in swimming pool car park smashed

Gypsy Lane, Wokingham – goods stolen

Wellington Road, Wokingham – window smashed

 

 

 

Criminal Damage

and anti-social behaviour is an emerging issue around Lakeside in Earley.  There have been 9 criminal damage to vehicles occurring overnight or during the evening. Also anti-social behaviour reports on Friday and Saturday evenings with noisy youths causing damage.  Also around Finch Road, Betchworth Avenue, Silverdale Rd and Radnor Road.

We need to know where and when anti-social behaviour is happening so that we can work together to let offenders know that this is not acceptable!
